city cats valerie waters Valerie Waters (Practice Manager; 2005) has a BA in Biology from Ithaca College. She's been a tech since 2000 and enjoys hand-raising kittens. She has 2 poorly-behaved kitties, one of which she adopted from City Cats.

When I came to City Cats for the first time, in August of 2003, I felt hopeless. My cat Brittany had been diagnosed with kidney disease in January of that year and the vet that I had been taking her to at that time gave me little hope. A friend had recommended City Cats ... it turned out to be the best thing I did for Brittany....

By changing her food to all kidney diet food, giving her vitamins and fluid treatments and bringing her in for frequent check-ups, my cat continues to thrive today. To look at her, you’d never know she was sick but she does have her good days and her bad days. I feel that my cat wouldn’t be alive today if City Cats didn’t coach me with her care.
